All products purchased from Tricycle Shop are covered by our Quality Guarantee, which ensures that any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship are addressed. This is our way of ensuring your child enjoys the best experience with our clothing and toys.

2. What is Covered

Clothing

Our guarantee covers structural issues that occur under normal use, including:

  • Loose stitching or seams
  • Faulty zippers or buttons/snaps that fail

Montessori Toys

We cover manufacturing defects for our toys, including:

  • Cracked wood or splintering
  • Peeling non-toxic paint
    (Defects caused by misuse, accidents, or exposure to extreme conditions are not covered.)

3. What is Not Covered

The following are not considered defects and are not covered by the guarantee:

  • Normal wear and tear (stains, fading, minor scratches)
  • Damage caused by improper washing, drying, or care of clothing
  • Accidental damage, misuse, or modifications
  • Toys left outdoors or exposed to extreme moisture

Note: Our Montessori toys are made from natural wood. Variations in wood grain, color, or texture are normal and do not constitute defects.

4. How to Make a Claim

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us – Email our support team at contact@tricycleshop.co.uk.
  2. Provide Proof – Include your order number and 2–3 clear photos showing the defect.
  3. Review – Our team will carefully review your claim and respond promptly.

5. Resolution

If your claim is approved, we will provide:

  • A replacement item at no cost.
  • If the item is out of stock, a full refund or store credit will be issued.
